Puto Bumbong (Simplified)

Recipe:

1 cup glutinous rice flour​

1/4 cup water

1 tsp ube extract or purple food colouring

​

Toppings:

Melted butter

Muscovado sugar​

Grated coconut

Grated cheese

Directions:

1. Mix the water with the ube extract. Gradually add the liquid, mix until it just comes together. The dough should be dry.

2. Grate the dough. Take a piece of tin foil and brush butter inside. Put a spoonful of the grated dough inside. Cover and wrap into a log. 

3. Steam over medium heat for 11 minutes.

4. Brush butter on top and add toppings to your liking.
